Mr. Vance Amory has been a member of parliament for about 30 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A) from the University of the West Indies (UWI) and an MBA from the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI).
Mr. Amory is a former educator, banker and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance in the Nevis Island Administration from 1983 to 1986.
He founded the Concerned Citizens Movement Political Party, in 1987 and, that year, was elected to the Nevis Assembly. He served as Premier of Nevis from 1992 to 2006 and again from 2013 to present.
Mr. Amory has been a strong proponent of the Citizenship by Investment Programme for St. Kitts and Nevis and has been a speaker at numerous CIP conferences. A long standing Member of Parliament and Government, he has a thorough understanding and appreciation of the importance of the CIP to the economic and social development of the countries that offer this option of a second citizenship.
